{"id":5,"date":"2017-02-24T15:32:16","date_gmt":"2017-02-24T15:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scds.cdm.depaul.edu\/?page_id=5"},"modified":"2020-03-02T14:02:32","modified_gmt":"2020-03-02T14:02:32","slug":"call-for-papers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/scds.cdm.depaul.edu\/index.php\/call-for-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CDM School of Computing &amp; Digital Media Research Symposium will be held on:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<strong>Friday May 22nd, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>SCD Symposium\u00a0is a research conference aimed at providing a forum for students (PhD, Masters and Bachelors) to present their research.<\/p>\n<h5>Submissions<\/h5>\n<p>The Symposium invites authors to submit one of two types of written work using the conference Google Form:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Paper (min 5 pages)<\/li>\n<li>Poster Abstract (250 words &#8211; 1 page)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Paper submissions will lead to a presentation during the conference. Papers can be submitted for:\n<ul>\n<li>new work!<\/li>\n<li>work already submitted or accepted for other conferences or journals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>There will be no restrictions on submitting work from\u00a0SCD Symposium\u00a0to other conferences or journals.<\/li>\n<li>Only <strong>one<\/strong> paper submission as the first author is allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Abstract submissions will lead to a poster presentation during the conference.
